Maths for Fun Project
The Maths for Fun project was
organised by the Home School Community Liaison team of Milo Walsh and
Pat Purcell. It involved the training of a group of parent volunteers
who now work with a selected class on a weekly basis doing Maths Games
for fun. The idea is to improve attitudes to Maths, to break down the
fears and dislikes often associated with Maths and to enable children
to learn in a fun way. The project also , very importantly, gets
parents involved in the life of the school.
