Gaelic Games in the CBS

The CBS Primary School has a hurling team and a Gaelic football team. Players are taken from 4th. , 5th. and 6th. class. The team trains every week during the months of September, October, March , April and May in the Geraldine O'Hanrahan GAA grounds. The school also has hurling skills in the school playground every Monday morning .
Each Autumn , the school participates in the Rackard Football League and in the Spring, the school participates in the Rackard Hurling League.This league is named after Wexford legend , Nicky Rackard.
