The school supports a number of charities each year. Goal is a charity run by Irishman John O'Shea (not the Man. U. player!). They help people in some of the poorest countries around the globe and they have a philosophy of trying to ensure that every cent raised gets to the people in need of help, rather than in administration. The Jersyey Day is a great idea because it celebrates difference, is fun for the pupils , and allows everyone to show their 'True Colours'. It fits very nicely in to our school philosophy of 'Respect and Appreciation for All' . Each pupil contributes €1 and in return gets to wear his favourite jersey(county, club, country) .Good fun and very colourful as well as educational.
